Dy/Ho-encapsulated tartaric acid-functionalized tungstoantimonates: heterogeneous catalysts for isoindolinones synthesis
Abstract
Two novel rare earth substituted tungstoantimonates [H2N(CH3)2]8Na12[Dy2(H2O)6(tar)(Sb2W21O72)]2·40H2O (DySbW) and [H2N(CH3)2]6Na14[Ho2(H2O)6(tar)(Sb2W21O72)]2·25H2O (HoSbW) (tar = tartaric acid) were synthesized with butterfly-shaped tetramers. These tetramers are connected in series through a 1D chain generated from Na atoms and tartaric acid ligands and further extended to 2D framework. Notably, HoSbW exhibits excellent catalytic activity and high stability for the synthesis of isoindolinones using EtOH as a green solvent.
